Please try again later. Verified Purchase. Great for the newbies out there trying to learn to draw! Learning to draw fashion. While the book is great, the condition of the book upon receiving was not.
Front cover was torn and had some smudges on it. Too much trouble to return. Wanted to track myself fashion illustration so I added this book to my art library. Hwving lots of fun with this. Good basic instruction on drawing the human figure and then exaggerating it for fashion drawing. Has some advice for for peopke thinking of doing thid as a career too. The book arrived on time in perfect conditions. Fashion Drawing for dummies has made my life so much easier.
I like how it is edited, and everything is explained step by step. I think it could help people who doesn't know anything about fashion drawing and also help with some of the tips to those who are learning to become designers.

Good description and written information but for a drawing guide, the drawings are amateurish and extremely basic I expected much better, especially from the sections focusing on faces and hair, which is why I bought the book as some of my other fashion drawing books have missed this section out and I wanted to improve in this area.
The information side of things is a plus though so I do like that but really wish the illustrations were better! Report abuse. Just what I needed, I am not an expert but really enjoyed all the exercices and how I managed to improve my drawings. One person found this helpful. Brilliant book for beginners!
